Hi, I’m Holly.
A modern yoga and meditation teacher
Who holds space for people find moments of peace and stillness in the midst of life's busyness.
I understand the feeling of being caught up in the hustle and bustle of modern life, always feeling like you need to be doing something, thinking about "what next," and not being able to focus on the present moment.
This may have led you to lose sight of your own needs and well-being.
When life feels overwhelming, yoga and meditation can be grounding practices to help you come back to yourself.
I created the Yoga Communitea Studio to offer easily accessible videos that can be used anytime as a way to reset, replenish, and calm your thoughts, emotions, and racing sensations in the body. My practices will guide you through poses and meditations that will help you connect with your body, breath, and mind.
Yoga has taught me how to be present and authentic, and to listen to my body's wisdom. I want to share these practices with you so that you can experience the same benefits.
The Yoga Communitea Studio is a space where you can feel safe and supported to connect with your inner compass and find your Sangha.
Outside of these labels, I am a nature lover who finds nothing more grounding than hiking and being in water. I love moving my body, connecting with others, and creating calm in my mind.
I first found yoga in my early twenties as a way to move my body with lower intensity. I discovered that it created more space not only in my body, but also in my mind. I began to tune in to the awareness of my body, thoughts, and emotions, and the mask I found myself putting on slowly began to fade away. After leaving my local class, I would feel elevated, like I was floating on a cloud, and whatever had happened that day no longer took up space in my mind.
I am on my own journey to evolve my personal practice and deepen my knowledge as a facilitator to hold space for people.
Here’s how I’d describe my classes:
“A practice that resonates with modern life. My classes are a gentle space to slow down and simply be, without expectations, just our raw selves. I hope that through the words of my Dhama it offers a comfort blanket, a place to feel heard, comforted, and held, as we nourish our souls, move our bodies, and calm our minds together. The practice is the Yin to the Yang of modern life.”
